SYNOPSIS

Niño con jirafa mirando un cielo estrellado azul y violeta.

RUN, KURU, RUN!

NORA, 12, enters the Bidasoa Hospital (in Irun city, Spain, border with France), and while waiting, she spots KURU in the next cubicle, Ethiopian, 12. NORA wants to know what has happened to him, but KURU will tell her a story about KETXINE, a giraffe that travelled across the Mediterranean, as he has done now.

KETXINE is captured to become the gift to the French king, and her journey, becomes a fable that tells us about KURU’s journey and of many migrants who cross the Mediterranean sea.

KETXINE trusts ATIR, 14, a rebellious girl raised by ostriches accompanying her to Paris. KURU trusts NORA and manages to escape from the hospital, disguised as a giraffe. NORA cries out: Run, Kuru, run!
